History:
Risen Savior Ev. Lutheran Church began in the fall of 1989 when interested Lutherans started planning a new congregation. Their first worship service was on September 9, 1990. Risen Savior is a congregation of the Northern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. This is one of the largest Lutheran bodies with churches throughout North America and partner missions and churches throughout the world.
